Dr. Alexander Neumeister, a Professor of Psychiatry and Radiology at the New York University School of Medicine and a Distinguished Guest of our website has received this year’s Robert S. Laufer, PhD, Memorial Award for Outstanding Scientific Achievement from the International Society for Traumatic Stress Studies.

Dr. Nnamdi Pole sent the following note to Dr. Neumeister: “As Chair of the 2012 International Society for Traumatic Stress Studies Awards Committee, I am delighted and honored to inform you that you have been selected to receive this year’s Robert S. Laufer, PhD, Memorial Award for Outstanding Scientific Achievement. Therefore, the committee is very pleased to recognize you with this award.”
