Conference Update – 2011

The “II International Congress on Dual Disorders: Addictive Behaviours and other Mental Disorders” will be held in Barcelona, Spain, on October 5-8, 2011. The program will consist of plenary sessions, symposia, workshops, meetings with the expert, educational update sessions, oral communications and posters. The members of the organizing committee are proud that they received a significant support from the most prestigious national and international institutions involved in mental health, psychiatry and drug addiction.

Migel Casas, M.D., Ph.D., Professor and Head, Servei de Psiquiatria, Hospital Universitari Vall d’Hebron, Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona, is the Congress Chairman. Maria Dolores Braquehais, M.D., Ph.D., a Distinguished Guest of our website, www.internetandpsychiatry.com, is a Member of the Congress Scientific Committee.

The 10th Congress of the World Federation of Societies of Biological Psychiatry (WFSBP) will be held in Prague, Czech Republic, on May 29 – June 3, 2011. The Congress is organized by the WFSBP Executive Committee run by Prof. Florence Thibaut, the President of the WFSBP; Prof. Robertas Bunevicius, a Vice-President of the WFSBP and a Distinguished Guest of our website, www.internetandpsychiatry.com; and Prof. Constantin R. Soldatos, a Vice-President of the WFSBP. The Local Organizing Committee is co-chaired by Eva Ceskova, Ladislav Hosak, and Cyril Hoschl. WFSBP Congresses are very major international scientific events. The 2013 and 2015 WFSBP Congresses will be held in Kyoto (Japan) and Athens (Greece), respectively.

The XXVI International Association for Suicide Prevention (IASP) World Congress will be held in Beijing, China, on September 13-17, 2011.
