Debora Ganz, B.A.Debora Ganz, B.A., currently lives in New York City, where she is pursuing a Ph.D. in Clinical Health Psychology. Debora Ganz graduated summa cum laude from Stern College in 2009, where she received her B.A. in psychology. Debora Ganz is currently a doctoral candidate at Ferkauf Graduate School of Yeshiva University.

Debora Ganz’s past research has focused on comorbid factors that contribute to suicidality, posttraumatic stress disorder, alcohol and other substance use; primarily in adolescent's. Debora has also interned at the New York State Psychiatric Institute as a research assistant in a study on Tryptophan depletion in the brains of recovered alcoholics and past suicide attempters.

Debora has worked extensively with at-risk adolescents both in the United States and Israel.

Debora believes that one of the biggest battles we currently face in mental health is that of social stigma. Debora Ganz is very involved in Active Minds; a program established to promote mental health awareness on college campuses. Debora has served as treasurer on the Active Minds board of Yeshiva University and spoken on the topic of the prevalence of depression on college campuses.

Debora seeks to continue her current research in the fields of adolescent suicidality and comorbidity and hopes to help better understand the mind-body interaction involved in many mental and physical illnesses. Debora's doctoral research focuses on the psychological factors associated with cardiovascular health outcomes.
